Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are between 4 and 5 years old. They are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, activities. With school closures nationwide, it is hard for them to continue learning at home without their essential needs of basic school supplies. For many of my students, the supplies at school is all they had.
My Project
I have requested caddies for my students. In my classroom I normally have them share table community of classroom materials and supplies. Unfortunately, that may not be a good choice for the students this upcoming school year. I am hoping that the students having their own personal caddies will minimalize the spreading germs to each other. This way each student will have a place to have all of their materials and supplies in one spot and not have to share them with other students. As a mother myself, this little thought is more of a peace of mind to send our babies back to school and pray for normal life again.
