"Those who do not find time for exercise will have to find time for illness." – Earl of Derby
I teach Physical Education in a high poverty inner city public school in Indiana.
Our school has almost 350 students, PK-8, who love Physical Education! I see every student twice a week. We rarely go outside to play, so I want to teach the students how to exercise inside. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they could then go home and teach their families what they have learned? By doing this, the entire family will be exercising together, and everyone would be in shape!
Help me help them so we end the trend towards childhood obesity!
My Project
We need a save place to keep our balls from being all over the place. Having a ball storage cart and racks will help keep things organized and neat. It will also make it much easier to move from storage to gym. Students will know where the balls go and keep them from getting mixed up with other things. With the limited storage space we have, this will be a great help.
Your donation to this project will help over 350 students in my school get on the right road to do their part to fight childhood obesity.
With your help, we can get our students on the right track to start their own fitness program. Students will benefit from this program for many years to come. Teaching the students the importance of staying in shape is the key to their future.
