Keeping Our Senses in Science

Help me give my students digital sensors to make sense of science. With many of our physical science units, students are testing the conductivity and pH of solutions.

My Students

My students live in a rural area of north Georgia. My students are highly motivated learners who enjoy hands-on, engaging activities that engage the mind. We love to offer new learning opportunities to our students, and they jump right in!

My students are active learners who love seeing science in action!

There is something about the “Ah-ha!” moment in the room when we can use hands-on materials or practice with exciting games to show our understanding of physical science concepts!

My Project

The project is to fund three new digital sensors in order to better understand solutions and how we can describe the chemical properties of matter. These sensors work with the USB module we already have, and would allow our classes to better research the science behind sports drinks, bottled water, and more!

Your contribution will go directly to these three sensors to help our classes to learn more about the chemical and physical properties of the substances they interact with every day.

Our students will be more informed consumers and be able to see science principles in with digital readings!
