Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is comprised of 24 energetic and inquisitive Transitional kindergartners whose families come from different countries from around the world. For many of them, this is their first school experience and we want to make this experience as positive as possible.

My Project

We love to have our classroom as clean as it can be throughout the day. We are always creating something new in our room and having the cordless Dyson vacuum will tremendously help us with the cleanup. At our school, classrooms only get vacuumed and spot mopped once a week. My classroom has one large rug and a library. A simple craft activity that involves cutting can end with hundreds of little pieces of paper on the floor. My students are still mastering their fine motor skills which leads to lots of practice and lots of messes. It is important to keep and maintain a clean and tidy classroom environment, especially during this time.
