Keeping Our Class Healthy!

Help me give my students snacks, sanitizing supplies, and playground equipment to stay safe and healthy during this crazy time we are living in!

My Students

I have an amazing group of 7 and 8-year-old students in my classroom. They are very eager, hard-working, and have endless amounts of energy. They are willing to try anything and are always up for new challenges.

Our classroom works like a tiny community.

Our elementary school became Title I this year, with over 51% of our current enrollment on free or reduced-price lunch. We also have a high percentage of students considered financially disadvantaged. Even though my students have different interests, mixed abilities, and come from different backgrounds, they all help each other and support each other. I love it when I watch a student go out of their way to help a classmate who is struggling. My students are some of the most brilliant kids I have ever met.

My Project

We are living through a crazy time right now, and my top priority is keeping my students healthy! We take time out of our day to wash our hands, sanitize our desks, and eat a healthy snack. I also make sure that students are exercising during recess and spending time getting fresh air.

My students mean the world to me, and I will do what I can to keep them healthy.

By receiving play equipment, my students can have more options to keep them exercising at recess. The snacks I requested will keep their bellies full in order to help them focus in class. The anti-bacterial soap will be super helpful when washing our hands and getting rid of unwanted germs. Also, the sanitizing wipes will help keep our classroom surfaces clean while we push through this pandemic.
