My Project

I teach a group of 19 inner-city and rural kids. They are all gifted students in their own individual way. They take pride in completing their assignments and helping each other. However, many are very fidgety, disorganized, and can be emotional. Each day is different and keeping them engaged can be a task.

It is important for me to be prepared and have their next task ready even before their prior assignment is not completed.

For this reason, it is imperative to keep these gifted minds innovatived. With the use of "STEM" toys, students will have fun, mind-consuming activities to work on when they finish their work. We have a few bins, but adding to our collection is my goal. I want to be able to keep my students challenged throughout the entire day, especially when they finish their work.
