Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from a low-income urban school district. Free breakfast and lunch every day to make sure our students are fed and have energy throughout the day to help with engagement and building a healthy, safe and fun community.
My third graders love to work at different stations around the room, work collaboratively, and sing and dance!!
Students strive to make this school environment better than all the rest! We are superheroes here, and we can do amazing things!
My Project
Every child loves to read, but at their own pace, skill level, and with their own individual interests. This list of materials is to organize a classroom library that is available for students to find their books at their own appropriate level, genre, and interests. This will allow them to truly find a book they can enjoy.
It also can help keep their math materials organized and accessible to them at all times.
Students in my classroom do not have desks to hold all their materials, so the organizers will help keep them overwhelmed with books they will not need until further dates.
