This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The first time coming to school can be very scary for students. I want them to come in and be inspired to read and learn. This could be the year hat magic happens and they fall in love with books!

Most of my students come from very low income families.

At school I want them to have a wide variety of levels and genres for them to choose what they want to read and be inspired. I am going to have 18 u coming to a school for the first time and I want them to love it!

My Project

These leveled books will be used every day by my students. Students come in to the classroom on all different levels of reading. I need to be able to give them books that's challenge them as well as interest them. The students also will each have a sack on their chair so that they can store the books they are reading in them, and keep them safe!

This project will inspire my students to read and love to read.

This will give them the organization and the differentiation that they need to succeed! They will be able to choose different books that are their level and store them in their chair sack until they are finished reading them.
