This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

For students with Attention Deficit Disorder...being able to stay "on task" is the most important thing.

I teach a class of Kindergarten to 3rd grade special education students in a low socioeconomic area of Southern California.

We are a Title 1 school in the first year of Program Improvement. I teach a wonderful group of students who have varying needs and disabilities.

My Project

The "Time Tracker" visual timer that I am requesting will help my students stay On Track by providing a visual reminder that uses a green, yellow, and red light to keep them aware of how much time they have to finish a task. It even has a voice that says "Begin" and "Times Up" when they have finished.

We have successfully used this timer in my class for the last year, but unfortunately the one I had became worn out and stopped working.

It would be a great benefit for the class to be able to use the Time Tracker again.
