This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We all know what it's like to get frustrated in math and not want to do it. It's too boring, or too hard and you just don't care. That's what my students go through when I tell them it's time to practice math.

Most of my 4th grade students come from one of two housing developments in NY.

While I know their parents give them everything they can, they do not have a lot of opportunities. As a result, I try to give them everything I can in the classroom. This includes making boring and difficult subjects, like math, much more engaging.

My Project

I would like some electronic and timed math activities to help keep their attention. I am hoping that while playing these games, my students will get the reinforcement they need in math. These activities will also help my students check their answers, giving them more confidence in the skills.

I want my students to have everything.

I want them to learn, and to enjoy learning. Your donation will help me give this gift to my students. It will help them love school, and keep them moving in their educational career.
