This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Hi! I teach Pre-K at a BCPS. I have 23 students in my class and they are so eager to learn! They are a happy group who come to school excited about learning and what they are going to do each day! I love their excitement about learning and I enjoy creating fun learning experiences for them.

My class is curious and loves to learn through exploration!

We do a lot of hands-on learning in our class. That is how young minds learn best! I am excited to set up a project with DonorsChoose!

My Project

These materials will help make a difference in my students' learning by helping them stay organized. The table caddies will help them keep all their crayons, pencils, glue, etc. easily accessible to them and in one place. The seat pockets will allow them to keep papers we are working on, books, and folders in a nice neat place, and easily accessible. These materials will give students a sense of ownership knowing that there is a place for them and their belongings while teaching them to take responsibility for their belongs.
