Keeping Kammerer's Shop Stocked!

Help me give my students individual snacks to keep them going during the school day! Sometimes that extra boost of energy will make all the difference. Additionally, mechanical pencils and fidgets are always items that ensure success!

My Students

Our middle school is a microcosm of our city, Louisville, KY, and that makes us unique. Both city and school represent citizens from all socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic groups. Our students have varied life experiences and those experiences are what make us strong. We believe in creating awareness, accepting everyone, and excellence as the expectation.

As soon as students walk through the door, they know they are in a school where they are loved, appreciated, and will receive the best educational experiences possible.

My Project

These materials are going to stock our Kammerer Shop. Our shop is the place where students come to purchase items.

Our middle school students can purchase items with points that they earn after completing personalized reading comprehension and vocabulary lessons.

Our shop is open once a week and I have a variety of point levels to encourage saving for higher and more valuable priced items.

The Kammerer Shop has been open since September and our students have read over 50,000 words since August of this school year, according to Reading Plus, our online comprehension platform!
