This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach students in grades 9-12. They are hard-working, talented, smart, and determined. What I love most about my students is that they do not allow their circumstances to deter them from being great. I work at a Title I school located in an urban area. The environment is not so great, but my students show up every day excited about learning and determined to make a better life for themselves.
My Project
We have been engaging in virtual learning, but students will be returning back to the building in January. I would like to make sure we keep our space as clean and germ-free as possible while we engage in day to day learning activities.
Learning will continue to take place, but we want to take all the necessary precautions to stay COVID-free.
Hand sanitizer will be used frequently. We will sanitize desks, chairs, doorknobs, etc. after every use. Masks will have to be worn at all times, so having extra will be essential.
