I am the lucky teacher of 23 amazing, smart, fun, energetic, artistic, creative, and amusing third graders. We live in a small, rural community. Our school has a diverse culture. Included in our boundary is a Native American reservation from which a good part of our student body comes.
Our students all qualify for free breakfast and lunch.
Even though our cultures and economic situations are varied, our school is a welcoming place of learning, working together, and providing the best for our children.
My Project
I think that being organized in my classroom helps both me and my students to function at our best. Also, having a clean and healthy classroom is important to our success.
Having stackable drawers will help my students to have a place to keep their things.
A place that is individual and easily accessible. Having a cordless vacuum allows students to help keep our classroom clean each and every day. It also allows them to take responsibility of our space.
White boards, markers, dry erasers and clip boards are great items, so that we use as little paper as possible. Being able to work and then erase on a whiteboard is a smart way to be environmentally friendly.
Having healthy snack also helps us stay strong and focused.
Having an organized and healthy working atmosphere is what I want to provide for my students. I want them to fell comfortable and happy at school.
