This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from a Title 1 school in Phoenix, AZ. They are amazing students! They work hard and enjoy learning so much. However, COVID has impacted our social emotional learning and understanding.

I am looking to make my classroom a more calming and understanding environment for my remarkable students to feel supported and loved.

My students deserve to feel supported and safe when they are in need of social emotional support. I would love for them to feel that they have options for calming themselves down when they are needed.
