Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach in a diverse area, and my hard-working students come to school every day ready to learn. I love my students! They are hard-working, eager learners. They come from diverse backgrounds including various ethnicities and diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. I use whole-brain teaching strategies in my classroom, so my students are constantly engaged in learning and sharing ideas with each other. I want my students to have all of the essentials they need to be able to love life every day.
My Project
Throughout the day, our classroom is full of movement and activity. Sometimes it is hard to keep our room clean. With these items that I am asking for, I am hoping to help keep my classroom more organized. The vacuum is for my students to be able to vacuum up their messes quickly. Pocket charts are useful because they are easily interchangable. For classroom jobs, this will be a great addition because our jobs change weekly. Clorox and baby wipes are to wipe down surfaces. Table caddies are for organizing our classroom materials so that they are all in one place.
