I am lucky to be a dance teacher in a public middle school. I feel like I have the best job in the world (seriously!) I have two classes of sixth-grade students in the Art Wheel. The Art Wheel is the best thing; we have all sixth-graders spend a quarter of the year in a different arts class: dance, music, creative writing, and art. I also have a Dance 1 class, a Dance 2 class, and a Social Dance class. My students are bright and so willing to dance; I love them! Our school is near the mountains in the Salt Lake Valley, and many of my students enjoy hiking in and playing in the mountains near home.
My Project
Our dance room is amazing, but it gets dirty quickly with 120 students in it every day! I'd love to get some cleaning supplies for the floor and mirrors so students aren't dancing in fallen hair and shoe debris, and so they can see themselves in the mirror. :)
The donations for this project will help students focus on their technique, choreography, rhythm and unique personal dance style as opposed to a dirty floor.
My request consists of an XL Swiffer starter kit to get the mop, as well as refills of dry and wet wipes for the mop. It also consists of windex wipes for our mirrors.
