The student members of our XC team are some of the utmost dedicated students both academically and on the course.

We have a talented group of individuals who seek a challenge when training. With funding cuts that have occurred over time, we are looking for opportunities and resources to help provide our team with high-quality training resources.

Our team is a family that encourages each other, has high academic standards and emphasizes the importance of character.

My Project

This timing equipment will allow our student-athletes to lead their running groups to work towards their running pace and goals. Running group leaders will use the Garmin watches and stopwatches to set the pace for their group. In order to achieve success as a runner and reach their full potential, an athlete must pay close attention to their pace goals and have a plan on how they are going to reach their goals long before they toe the starting line. Pacing is something that can and should be practiced in training. Proper pacing takes practice. It requires patience and self-control, especially in race settings.
