Help me give my students the tools they need to succeed! We are in desperate need of headphones to help students with their interventions, bins for organization, whiteboards, cleaning supplies, and writing supplies!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are creative, resilient, determined, and love to be knowledgeable! I teach in an underprivileged school in Charlotte where scholars show me every day how they can overcome their obstacles and show the world they can do anything they set their mind to. They make every day an amazing day to be a teacher the second their smiles walk through the door. Watching them grow throughout the year is an opportunity I wish everyone could witness. They work with what they have and make every day an opportunity to learn something new. They are truly inspiring.
My Project
Hello! My amazing class is in need of new materials going into the new year! I have a lot of friends who need extra practice in literacy and math! They use school-provided devices to help strengthen their skills but we need headphones to help keep all of our students focused on their designated activities! Headphones would be a major game-changer in the classroom, especially for assessments that are taken online and intervention activities.
We are also in need of new supplies, such as pencils, pencil sharpener, erasers, dry erase markers and erasers, and dry erase boards!
All these materials are vital to our day-to-day learning for every aspect of the day!
Organization is key! We need some more bins to keep all our materials together and organized! The bins will be used directly for the students and help them be responsible for their classroom materials, setting them up for success!
