My students need the flexible seating to keep students alert while increasing focus. My students will love the choice between ball chairs, wobble chairs, and bungee chairs to help with fidgeting. Bean bag chairs to read!

My Students

My students are part of the special education population in the middle school of our district. They have some needs that go beyond paper and pencil and sitting in desks. They have done well with flexible seating and I would like to keep it in my classroom. They are high energy and need to move around throughout class. They are an amazing group of kids and deserve to have these choices to help making that shine! Please help us keep our seating.

My Project

This year I started a new school. My roommate had received a grant for flexible seating. My roommate is leaving, and so are her seats.

My students have benefited from flexible seating and we are hoping to keep it.

I have added things that I know they have used throughout the year, and we hope to continue using them. Flexible seating not only affords the students an energy outlet, but they also get a choice of where to sit. They use the chairs to work and collaborate and love to read in the bean bag chairs.

We will appreciate everything.
