I teach at a wonderful middle school that has been recognized five times as a "school to watch." This is very remarkable since we live in a high-poverty area, and many of our students have difficulty finding support for musical enrichment outside of our classroom.
My students thrive in a student-centered learning environment where they can discover and learn by using our classroom tools and technology.
We have very little room in our classroom budget for anything but basic music needs and instrument repairs.
My Project
We live in a high paced world where technology is constantly changing. Where we once used white boards we now use an Apple TV. Where we once wrote music on paper, we now use notation software and create using apps on our class iPads. Once we had a CD player, now many times my students and I will play music through our phones.
We need an additional charging station/extension chord and charging chords to keep our class iPads charged up and ready to go!
Unfortunately, our new classroom MacBook Pro (Thank you, DonorsChoose!) does nor have the USB jacks that we are accustomed to, so we are also asking for a USB/HDMI adapter.
