Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
During Covid, my district made a digital transition. Students were given Chromebooks to use on a daily basis. Fast forward to now, we are still using laptops. The use of paper and pencil has decreased greatly.
Many times, my students come to school and their laptops and chromebooks are not charged.
This means they are unable to access their schoolwork, curriculum, and assignments while their device is dead. They are missing out on valuable instructional time.
This charging station would give my students the option to charge their device while they are in my class, so they are prepared for their other academic classes.
