My Students
Hello! Welcome to my class of vibrant personalities. When you walk in the door you will see students of the active nature who love to be up and moving around. You may also see some socializing from time to time but when it's time to work we push that pencil!
A person can do anything if they know they are a part of something bigger.
When Hurricane Harvey flooded our school we had to face the reality of being displaced in another school. However, these students are so resilient and have adapted to our new surroundings like CHAMPS!
Every day my students are faced with the impact of a low-socioeconomic area, some reaching poverty. However, their minds are not a reflection of their surroundings, circumstances, or test scores. My students are individuals with potential.
The students you will see in my classes get excited at those little successes and thrive on any positive word. These students deserve their best chance at an education. Our motto is perseverance and our theme is to "Shine Above the Line". Put them in an environment where they thrive and watch them soar to something greater.
My Project
One thing about my students that I admire is their resiliency. Our class is beginning to thrive since the hurricane, but our resources fall short of a few essential items. My students have experienced so much in the last few months and I want to do my best to be a good teacher.
My students need a Tablet Charging Cart to keep our new technology fully charged everyday and a Bluetooth speaker to pair up to devices for better sound quality.
Our technology has been restored and this charging cart will keep all the devices safe and locked up for daily use. The Bluetooth speaker will serve as our "sound system" when we use our tablets with our e-text. The speaker will pair up with our technology and devices for better sound quality. The speaker also needs a case for safe keeping and wear & tear.
Please help me become a better teacher by giving my class opportunities they would not have otherwise. Thank you for your consideration and support.
