My Students

Our students are part of a 3 year multi-age Montessori classroom. They are with their teacher and classmates more than one year and they become a supportive and caring community. They have great leadership and learning opportunities. By January the teacher could step out of the room and they would just keep working. Their learning is individualized so they are working at their own pace. There is a lot of movement around the room and it a beautiful thing to see!

My Project

Young learners have the fidget factor going for them. It is healthy to move! They are active and hands-on learners. Hokki stools keep them from falling off their chairs while they learn. They promote good posture. Students can also sit on the floor, but sometimes they want to be at a table. They have room to write and lay out their work on table mats. They work with 1-2 other students and collaborate on projects. The stools fit easily on and under tables for easy clean up and storage. We have tried one stool and they love it, but one is not enough!
