My Students

We live in small town South Dakota and have limited resources to assist our youth sports teams with equipment. Because of the high concentration of youth teams, there are fewer and fewer sponsors to go around. Teams are responsible for paying not only registration fees but also provide all the equipment, uniforms, tournament fees, travel, and incidentals. As the girls grow and compete at higher levels it becomes even more expensive and difficult to provide bats, helmets, and training gear.

These girls love what they do and I hate to take that away from them because of unsafe or limited equipment.

My Project

Our U12 girls softball team is in some desperate need of some equipment for our team. The current equipment is quickly becoming obsolete for us as our girls are growing and playing at a higher level. Many of the helmets are 5 years old and have been with the team since some of them were 8!

I owe it to these girls to provide them the best possible experience and teach them much more than just the game, but teach them teamwork and problem-solving skills they'll need in life.

These practice material and game equipment will help us achieve that goal.
