My students need sports equipment such as footballs, basketballs, skip ball, hula hoops, soccer balls, and pop and catch game to staying fit and healthy.

My students are very curious and energetic.
They are ecstatic and passionate about learning, just as I am about teaching them.
I teach in a Title I school, where about 90% percent of my students are English Language Learners and come from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. Ninety-five percent of my students receive free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch.
My Project
Keeping student active and healthy while learning is important to me.
I believe when students are more active at recess, they return back to class full of energy with open minds for more academic learning.
This is why I am requesting a sport equipment such as hula hoops, soccer balls, basketballs, skip balls, footballs, pop and catch balls to help students stay healthy and fit.
I usually see students just sitting on the number line waiting for the bell to ring. They are not moving around or playing because there is not enough recess equipment for them to use. It is very sad to witness this because 5-6 year olds should be practicing good healthy active habits at recess so they can continue to be active as they grow older.
Having more sport equipment would be a wonderful addition to our classroom. My goal is to give students in my class the opportunity to be physically active during recess and lunch because providing more sports equipment will allow students to stay on the right track in school. They're also important because they keep children physically fit. In addition, I plan to give the equipment away at the end of the year to my students so they can continue to stay healthy and fit during the summer break at home.
