My Students

Aloha from sunny Hawaii. I will be starting my 4th year of teaching. This time, however, I am at a new school and in a new grade level. I moved from kindergarten to 3rd grade. There are many differences between the age groups and am sort of "restarting." Ele'ele school is a project based school that encourage students to learn through real life experiences. Their mission is to have all students embrace a lifestyle that embraces continuous learning. With the help of donors like you, I can provide various ways to engage students to learn and want to continue learning. We all thank you in advance.

My Project

Relationships really do help motivate students and with the sudden closing of schools due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I would like to keep the relationships I've established and built with my students going by writing to them and sending rewards through the mail. Postage stamps are needed for me to reach them. The idea of each of my students receiving a little reward in the mail gets me excited knowing they will feel special. I also believe a surprise reward will keep them motivated to do their work virtually/independently. Thanks for your contribution in keeping the hearts of my students full!
