My 7th grade Life Science and 8th grade Physical Science students are eager learners (most days)! Their ages range from 12-14 years old. We live and work in Billings, Montana.
We work together to understand the world around us through the lens of Life Science and Physical Science!
We utilize technology on a daily basis in order to better reach mastery of our content standards. Whether using Chromebooks, or handheld devices, we use technology as much as we can. We are working toward adding more outside time to our day! As the weather warms up, we want to head outside!
My students are always looking for interesting ways to master our content standards. They love activities that go beyond the book!
My Project
We have a great project here in class where we are growing our own fruits and vegetables! This was a previous DonorsChoose success! Thank you!
Now, we are looking to make it more sustainable.
We have been buying one gallon jugs of distilled water 5 and 10 at a time. This is a constant cost as well as a huge waste of plastic. We have had many families that have donated jugs of distilled water as well! This is fantastic but it creates a constant need for assistance as well as constant waste.
We need this water distiller and these containers to keep our costs down and help keep plastic out of the landfill! Please consider helping us with this ongoing project!
