My diverse students are in school every day, eager to learn. The students at our school are from many different ethnic groups, cultures and religions.
This school seems to welcome all students with open arms.
The diversity of this school is a point of pride for staff and students. Their differences are celebrated. Many students may also be new to this country and may be learning to speak English. Any assistance with developing their language and reading abilities would benefit our school community. Unfortunately, being a public school in the school district of Philadelphia, we have had much needed funding reduced over the past years.
My students were fortunate enough to have our project funded. We just received 9 Chromebooks from the last project we posted. Now, we have to make sure the Chromebooks are safe in the classroom and they can be charged as needed. The cart that we picked out can hold 30 chromebooks. We now have 26 Chromebooks in our classroom.
Our new Chromebooks need a HOME!
We are so excited to have received such a generous donation from Ripple. We want to take care of the Chromebooks. They are used daily by two classes of students. And, they are used in Reading and Social Studies.
