I teach the most amazing virtual Kindergarteners in Kenilworth, New Jersey. They have chosen to remain remote learning this year with me. These 22 children were chosen the most respectful virtual Kindergarten class this Fall by the school and are very postive learners who motivate each other and myself to be the best we can be!
I chose a variety of materials that will keep my virtual Kindergarten creative in many ways. Being home all year, having very limited supplies to offer, these items will brighten and keep learning creative.
First, we will study MLK and celebrate diversity.
The culminating projects on diversity will help me bring this to life for my virtual students.
Through Writer's Workshop the students are becoming authors and developing their writing skills. Being able to offer the students real books to write in and illustrate will motivate them and make them feel like real authors.
The letters will help my tactile learners be able to manipulate letters home while I screencast them on my screen.
The class is not offered art class this year. I am providing as many artistic projects as I can but giving them paint will open up their world to a new medium in relation to a variety of books and themes we are studying.
