Our school is home to 95 Native American Students. Our school is 100% free and reduced lunch. However, we have some of the best students in Wyoming.
Our students have a love and passion for sports.
They always bring hard work and dedication to the athletics they participate in. Due to our unique funding, we do not always have the budget that public schools have; which sometimes causes us to struggle when it comes to purchasing equipment. Due to this, a lot of our teachers are forced to purchase equipment and supplies out of their own pocket.
I know any donated items will be greatly appreciated by our students. Our students spend any free time they have in the gym, and I know they will be excited to receive new equipment.
My Project
The equipment in this project will help PE teachers instruct our students. Our students love volleyball and basketball. The equipment in this project will allow us to perform volleyball and basketball units with more stations, which will involve more students.
Our students love the gym.
Anytime the teacher does a volleyball or basketball unit the students get excited. One of the most exciting parts of the year is when the PE teacher does a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. The kids get super competitive. It is fun to watch.
Another popular unit is volleyball. It is always fun to watch the boys get competitive with the girls. There is almost a daily volleyball challenge.
