Help me give my students Blick Tempera Paint to help with imagination, Wall Coaster Puzzle for something fun, Colorful Wooden Dominos, Magnet Building Tiles for centers, and Brain Twisting 3-D Puzzle Games for the older kids!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our school as a whole is an amazing school that offers so much to our students. Not only do we have a huge network of amazing and skilled teachers, but we also have an awesome, fun, and a smart bunch of kiddos! These kids have so much spirit and the willingness to learn it is truly contagious. We teach a group of kids with tough backgrounds and try to bring them as much love and happiness at LP. Teachers strive to make sure that their school life is like living in a safe family environment.
Being that I do not have my own classroom but, run the Club Life program, I want to introduce you to the whole school!
Club Life, or also known as Aftercare, has a wide variety of students. So I can't introduce you to just a few kids because this will benefit all students at LP! Here, all 400 of our kids rotate through this program. Some more then others, but there are a lot who come! Even though some stay super late, they still strive to be great and deserve to have things to keep them busy!
My Project
Getting materials like art supplies, STEM games and mind puzzles will benefit our students by giving them a challenge. Our students in the Club Life program love getting challenges, playing games and using their imagination. In order to support that, we are looking for things that are going to get our students thinking. In the Club Life program our age ranges from Pre-k-6th grade so, we need all sorts of entertaining, tough and "get them thinking" games! Our school loves to keep our students thinking, while having fun! Giving these students something fun to do after they are done with homework will not only keep them busy but will keep Club Life Fun and Entertaining!
