My Students

My students are all on the autism spectrum. They work hard to keep calm and learn, sometimes keeping calm is the most difficult part of their day.

All of my students are Autistic.

They love to learn, and they all learn differently. They have overcome so much already, but they inspire me everyday! They range in ability from nonverbal to being a great conversationalist. The school is a title 1 school, all of our students qualify for free lunch and breakfast. The students overcome so much just to get to school everyday, and I put my whole heart into educating these precious children everyday!

My Project

The diffuser and essential oils will help create a calming environment and help my students be more successful. They work hard everyday and to have a calm environment would make learning a little easier. I have seen other classrooms in my building using the diffuser and have seen such success!

My students work so hard to overcome so much that being able to provide more support in the calming environment will help make learning a little easier.

They will be able to focus on the task that is asked of them and less on feeling anxious or hyper.
