This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have an amazing group of students; I'm sure everyone says that, but my kids are exceptional.

I teach at a low-income middle school, where resources are scarce.

Being the soccer coach I want to be able to empower my students that playing a sport and being exemplary in academics go hand in hand. Student-athletes are excited to start playing sports, they are excited to get back on the field and work out all of the energy stored during virtual learning.

This donation will help me provide my student-athletes with the resources needed to be successful on the field! I want to be able to provide uniforms, shin guards, goalposts, sackpacks, and training gear to prepare them for the season, by your funding this project will help me give them the resources they need. I feel blessed to be able to ask for these resources for my student-athletes. Students should not feel that they cannot participate in sports just because they do not have the access to resources. Getting them back out there is my goal, I want to be able to train and educate them that being on the field requires dedication and being passionate about the sport. In order for student-athletes to be successful on the field they must be successful in the classroom, students should be granted the opportunity to play no matter the school that they attend. Help me in giving my student-athletes an amazing season.
