Help me give my students access to more breakout box supplies such as Counterfeit Detector Pens, locks, and tool boxes. These boxes are used in conjunction with awesome teacher's lessons to reach more students.
I work with a diverse group of middle school students. The students are in grades six through eight. In my job I work with all the middle school students at our school. Their ages range from 11-15 years old. Students come from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
The students are awesome and are thrilled to learn.
They are willing to work hard to help make their goals a reality. Students usually are willing to go the extra mile to be successful.
My Project
At our school we currently have one Breakout box; yet, when teachers would like to utilize Breakout idea in their classrooms, they need more than one box.
These boxes create exciting ways for students to collaboratively learn together.
The materials I am requesting will be used in conjunction with teacher's lessons to facilitate new learning.
The materials will be used to make more breakout boxes where students have to use clues to unlock the locks. This is also a way for teachers to incorporate STEM into their classes and lessons.
The great thing about the breakout boxes is that it allows students to learn in an exciting way.
I am specifically asking for the following items:
*Stanley 2-lid organizer toolbox: The toolboxes will be used to house the ultimate prize for when students figure out all the clues and unlock the box.
*Dri-Mark Counterfeit Detector Pen with UV light cap: The pens and UV lights will be used by teachers to leave clues for students that will help them unlock the boxes. The students will then use the UV light to discover the clues.
*Master Luggage Cable Lock: This lock has a 3-number combination. A teacher's clue will lead students to the correct combination to unlock the lock.
*American Lock-Lock-Out Hasps: The hasp will hold all the different locks. The hasp will be attached to the toolbox and once students unlock all the locks they will be able to take the hasp off and open up the toolbox for their prize.
Master Lock- Key Padlock: This lock has a key. A teacher will leave the key somewhere in which only their clues will lead students to the key. Once students figure out the clue, they will find the key and be able to unlock the lock.
