K-5 Special Needs Class: Motivating and Engaging Essentials!
Help me give my students special education resources such as headphones, small prizes, and language arts activities that will help with their different learning styles!
My K-5 special needs class has some basic classroom needs to support learning and motivation. Our class is a Varying Exceptionalities room filled with students of many different academic needs and ages. Oftentimes, my students are in and out of my classroom and we need a few items to help with success and learning in the classroom. These items are essential and would benefit the learning going on.
For my project I am asking for learning games, colored paper, headphones, treasure box prizes, and stickers that will help our special education classroom.
My students work hard for rewards such as stickers and treasure box items because they are big motivators in learning. Colored paper makes spelling lists and projects more exciting for my ESE students. We like to make books and crafts often and these supplies are a must. The headphones are a need in my classroom and several students do not have any but they have been happy to share. The table spot dots that we are asking for will help with seating options when students are working at the teacher table. It will give them defined spots to work at in cooperative learning groups.
These items will help motivate and engage the learning in our classroom! Our class will be so thankful and happy. We appreciate you!
