My Students

My students are remarkable and diverse! They are full of energy, embrace technology, and love to interact and collaborate. They represent a wide variety of ethnicities, family structures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and ability levels.

My students are part of Generation Z, which means they take in information quickly and learn differently than students in the past.

Many have short attention spans, seek instant gratification, and are innovative problem-solvers. They require constant engagement and keep me on my toes at all times!

My Project

Over the summer, I had the opportunity to attend The Ron Clark Academy for the most incredible professional development training. Two of his innovating teachers, the Kings, have developed their own conference, which brings some of the most engaging, creative educators together. This conference, Get Your Teach On, is coming to my area, and I need help in covering the registration cost. I want to spend two days with some of the best in our country to learn from, talk to, and be inspired by, so that I can continually grow as an educator.

Can you help me Get My Teach On?

I want to continue learning from innovating educators that can give me engaging ideas to bring back to my classroom. Creating room transformations, using play in educational ways, and increasing the rigor in my classroom are all areas that will be addressed in this professional development session.
