My Students

My high school students live in a rural community but are fearless of what the world has to offer! Everyday, these students overcome obstacles that would stop many young people in their tracks. These students depend on classroom supplies to successfully complete assignments at school.

My Project

This is just a little project to stock some items we've run low on in my area, including snacks for our hungry kiddos and school supplies for our students who can't provide their own. We are in an extremely high poverty area, and my colleagues and I invest a lot of time and money ensuring the students we spend our time with have their needs met as well as possible. Of course, we can't do everything, but when our high schoolers know they don't have to stress over an eraser or project supplies OR that they can come get a bottle of water or a granola bar, their days just go a little more smoothly!
