My Project

We are in need of some very basic necessities. My students and I would love to have Under The Cabinet Storage baskets. This year my school has gone to a more collaborative learning type of student desk. The desks do not have any places that allow students to store their personal materials-including the binders that are required. This has created a bit of a chaotic mess with books, binders and iPads stacked everywhere around our room. We were able to get six of these baskets in our classroom for a "trial", and we were pleasantly surprised to find out how well they worked!

These under the desk baskets have been such a life saver.

We are looking forward to restoring order in our classroom with the addition of the other baskets from this Donor's Choose Project. As we continue to work on keeping a well organized classroom I like to add a level of fun and excitement to our challenge. The dollhouse door will be used as the entrance way into the home of our Clean Desk Fairy. It will be installed at the top of our bulletin board where she can keep an eye on our classroom's progress with organization (and maybe, just maybe, she will leave a few Skittles behind for any desks that looks amazing). We are also in desperate need of pencils in our classroom.
