Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are eager to learn! They come to school each day with smiles on their faces, regardless of their home environment. Most of my students are English Language Learners. I also teach in a high poverty school both of these present challenges in the classroom.
My students work extremely hard each and every day!
This is my third year in third grade and I am slowly building activities and games that make learning fun! Thank you so much for thinking of my students!
My Project
Hello! Since I teach in a high poverty school, basic school supplies can be hard to come by. I teach third grade and while I do a lot on the board, students need to write, and I must keep rigorous material in their hands! With all the subjects as well as homework, you can imagine how much paper that adds up to on a daily basis. We use our dry erase boards daily, because of that, I am constantly replacing their markers!
Basic supplies are definitely needed in any classroom!
Thank you so much for reading about my students and supporting public education!
