Our third graders are always questioning their world and want to know more. They are inquisitive and always asking questions. We are a small rural school in Semora, NC. Many of my students come from low income homes and don't always have what is needed. My goal is to stimulate an interest in all areas and encourage inquisitive minds to seek answers and connect to the world around us.
We are located near a lake, so our class motto is "refuse to sink at our Elementary School".
My students of the past have loved the Who Was reading series and I want to continue that love by having more of these books to share with future students. They also showed a passion for the Owl Dairy series. I had to create a special check out system for these to series because they were always in demand.
They were always wanting to share with me what they learned and even taught me things along the way.
The erasers and plastic sheets will help us with daily routines and keep children from "popping" up because they'll have what they need at their seats.
