My students need assistance with admission and food for their bowling field trip.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My school sits in the middle of a low-income neighborhood in Florida. Close to 100% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch and about twenty percent of students live in one of the four shelters around our school. Our school does an excellent job of helping those students fit in even though the mobility rate is very high.
I believe every child can achieve the impossible.
My students have big dreams and I try every day to help them get closer to achieving them.
Every year our fifth graders have a spirit week where we have a weeks worth of field trips. For these events, the parents usually pay for their children to participate. However, because we have many displaced students from Puerto Rico and Texas, we don't have the heart to ask those parents to pay for their children. They are already going through so much.
I want every single child to have the opportunity, whether they can afford it or not.
At this stage in child's life, they should be having fun and not have to deal with adult problems. Going on a field trip with friends can take a lot of stress and strain off of them. This field trip will allow them to forget some of the not so good things that may be going on in their lives, at least for a while.
