Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you remember having boring, messy and dirty dittos in school? My students need me to print educational resources and materials from the Internet to enhance their learning.
I have a class of 23 kindergarten students.
My students attend a Title 1 school and a great majority are English Language learners. Most of our students come from low-income homes, and all students receive free breakfast, morning snack, and lunch. My students are enthusiastic learners, but too often are faced with many types of hardships at home. School is often a safe haven for them.
My Project
My students need printer ink to print materials to enhance their learning. Having access to these educational resources will be rewarding to my students. By having ink to print such things as activities, quizzes/assessments, worksheets, games, graphic organizers, parent materials, bulletin board ideas, cooperative learning ideas/materials, and printables that are aligned with the Common Core State standards, my students will be benefiting in all academic areas and subjects. My students will have access to innovating and teacher-made and tested materials to help improve their learning.
Teacher-made printables and ideas are most successful because they are made by teachers who have hands-on experience with students unlike a publishing company.
Therefore, having ink to print these great resources created by teachers can help enhance student learning in all academic areas such as math and language arts.
