My Students

Sending your child to school is expensive! School budgets are so tight that if I didn't request certain materials, the students just wouldn't have them. Buying higher priced items is usually out of the question.

I teach English Language Arts to all students in our fifth grade in our NYC elementary school.

These students come to school very motivated and ready to learn. Although they come from varied backgrounds, in my room, we are one community with a single purpose...work together to succeed and learn new things.

My Project

"Can I have a copy, please?" That's a question I get on a weekly (sometimes daily) basis from my students. Unfortunately, I do not have a copier in my classroom, and to have the office make a copy is a process.

I am requesting a multi-function printer with copying capabilities for my classroom, with ink, so I can easily provide a copy or print out to my students when necessary.

Having this basic machine in our classroom will really help move our day along and provide necessary learning materials for all of my boys and girls, and aid in the home-school connection.
