Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing and diverse 5-6 year olds that are excited to learn and explore. We are a STEM school, and my students have fully embraced the STEM mindset of problem solving, designing, and creating. We are in need of some additional technology to assist us on our learning journey. We are a lowest income, Title I school with a very diverse population. We need as many experiences and tools in our classroom as possible to engage students and give them the fullest learning experience possible.
My Project
My project includes various items and activities that would be engaging and exciting for my students! This project includes literacy, math, and building manipulatives. With this project my students would receive dot cards that would support our daily number talks. My students will receive some new and exciting building sticks. My students will also receive some new literacy games that we can use as literacy learning stations. The floating alphabet game will also incorporate some science and stem standards as well. The search and find alphabet game will be enagaging and can be used all throughout the year with differenriation. Thank you for your consideration!
