My Students

First year full-time teacher here! I have been teaching at our school long term for the last two years and we have the best kiddos.

Fourth graders are full of excitement to learn and I strive to create an engaging and fun atmosphere for them where they feel safe and accepted.

We are a rural school district with students from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds. I am so excited to be meeting my new class in a little over a month. Your donation will help to make our classroom a place they want to come to learn and have fun.

My Project

These activities will be used in a number of ways throughout my classroom. The text talk card will be used to help build comprehension during my guided reading groups. The literature and informational Can Do games, will be used during my ELA centers to improve students skill set. Finally, the grammar bingo will be used in both reading and writing to help make learning fun. Often times when you add in a game component, students will try harder and in turn, get more out of the activity. I am looking forward to getting these materials into my classroom and putting them to use as soon as possible!
