Help me give my students reading materials that are on their level to help improve their literacy skills.

The students in my classroom are students that read one to two grades below reading level. The typical student in my class reads at a kindergarten grade level and many struggle with basic phonics and comprehension. 90% of our students are African American. Many of them are being raised in single parent households and receive a free lunch based on their socioeconomic status. These things may prevent them from getting ahead early in life and may not provide them with the life experiences many of us see as "typical."
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.
Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom, I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me.
I am asking for two different leveled reading libraries. These materials will make a difference in my students learning by providing books that are on their reading levels. Students starting first grade and second grade can range from emergent to early readers to developing readers or readers who are already reading on the first grade reading levels.
My classroom lacks lower level books for students who are emergent-early readers coming from First Grade.
I want to be able to provide real books instead of print out books so that they can learn print concepts and book concepts that are important to reading. Please help me complete this project by donating to help my students become more successful readers.
