This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are part of a STEAM Magnet school in Los Angeles. This Magnet school emphasizes on students learning skills that will prepare them for the 21st century. This school services students of diverse cultures, ethnicities, and of various economic backgrounds. My students are curious learners willing to learn a wealth of knowledge to learn how the world around them works. They love to learn through the use of technology and get excited whenever they can get on any device that will help them obtain new knowledge.

My Project

As citizens of the digital era, students need to learn the necessary skills that will make them successful in school and in the outside world. To keep up with the demands of doing multiple tasks online and incorporating technology in the classroom , our class is in dire need of an updated laptop in class. All of my current technology is outdated and therefore does not not work anymore. This laptop would help a classroom of 23 eager 4th graders access technology to do research, take assessments online, and learn core subjects like math and reading in a more fun and exciting way.
