My students are energetic and eager little learners who come to me each day with a desire to learn. My students are children of military parents and deal with so many more situations than most adults do due to the deployment of parents, moving every two to three years, and having to start over again. They are sponges just waiting to soak up whatever information that they can. I strive daily to provide them with a safe and inviting learning environment and make learning fun and relevant for them.
My Project
These materials will be used in the classroom as a fun and unique way to explore color and light while building a great foundation in math, science, and language skills. The light table manipulatives are perfect for exploring colors and textures, also, making patterns, making sets, developing fine motor skills, and just learning through play. The possibilities are endless!!! Hands on learning is one of the most important components to successful learning in the early years of school. I strive to provide a variety of manipulatives so that all senses are covered during learning and they love having the hands on experiences.
