My Students

Teaching in a first/second grade split classroom means that a typical day is very busy! Each morning 24 students are greeted with a special handshake and enter my classroom with big smiles, bright eyes and an eagerness to learn. Teaching first and second grade students is special for so many reasons. They have an undeniable love for school, and a thirst to learn that is indisputable.

My school is placed at the center of a low-income community, we are over 50% on free/reduced lunch, and most of my students come from a household in which English is not the primary language.

My students are eager to learn and deserve the best materials to propel their love of learning in ways that will keep them engaged while supporting and increasing their love of learning!

My Project

My students would benefit greatly from 3Doodler pens because it would give them the opportunity to bring their creations to life!

3doodler pens would introduce my students to the world of 3D printing and encourage deeper level thinking through STEM activities!

These pens would be a great addition to my classroom by providing students with a fun, engaging, technological new median to express their ideas. Our world is greatly changing, and 3D printing is a great example of that. These pens would provide my students with a head start by allowing them to engage in a new technology to express their creativity and deepen their understanding of various STEM projects!
